Today has my encounter with this song over FB and it sparks a sudden memory of someone I know who send me this song before.

I will remember her everytime I hear this song.

PG bridge run 2008

Is the annual PG bridge run. This year I am participating it in Half Marathon again. Not dare to challenge myself over the full Marathon of 42km.

This year the event started over at the famous, glamorous mall at Bayan Lepas area - Queen's Bay Mall. Previously it started over at USM which is nearer to the bridge. Rumour says that it is due to the fact that the opposition had taken over PG state and federal doing some "dirty" work of stopping USM to be borrow out their field for PG bridge events. Well this is rumours so how true it is, I am not commenting.

Hence this year the distance for half Marathon had been pro-long.... last year is just 22km (I think) but this year the distance being 25km. Do not underlook the extra 3km as it is 3km of hell when you are tire and having leg sore towards the end of the run. A colleague of my who are GPS map ethusiate measure the whole distance which is actually 26km for the half marathon distance....

Like any previous years I did not do any preparation work for the half marathon. I never train before the event just like usual play my sports on the regular day. Shockingly this year I was able to run/jog my way till the almost end of bridge over Butterworth. Last year I started begging for air by the mid of the bridge and start walk my way. I take this as a good sign for this year. Apart of this little achievement, there is another goal I wanted to grab is that I wanted to beat my father as since I participate in PG bridge run, he had been beaten me. Always finish ahead of me and I didnt even know when he overtook me. This year is a sweet revenge as I am proudly saying that after I reach, I get my cert and medal, had my drink and chit chat with friends for a while then on my way back to my transport, I saw my father just crossing the line. YEAH!!!!!!!!

P/S: to my friends who are marathon runner come for PG bridge run. It is very interesting to experience the run and the bridge. To those SLR phtographic lovers, come too. Not to run maybe but you can get a lot of good pic on the bridge with sunrise. Saw many photographer taking picture (not participating the run) on the mid spam of the bridge.

Yeah man after the long waiting..... finally I am back to contribute to the gaming industry.

Just got this fresh an hour ago. Though without OS and got some issue with my LCD monitor where old model use to tap power from the PCU P/S but newer P/S come without the power tap out source. I believe this will be solve in matter of a day. Will add on the actual CPU when it is up up and flying.....

Happy Diwali to all my friends

Today receive the door gift thingy from my office area here and it is for Deepavali gift.
Kind of sweet and caring. Since I am short handed in my monthly blog idea, taken this opportunity to express something here.

I know many of us complaining about Malaysia being unfair to the non-bumi and stuff and heavily criticise that Malaysia is not the ideal place to be with low currency rate, corrupted administrative personnel, bad planning city, unfair treat and stuff. However the festive celebration and unity of the races is what I like the most in my country. Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Christmas we all celebrate as one. I get Raya Kuih from muslim colleague, I believe I will get Deepavali Murukku from my Indian manager, Christmas I hang out with christian friends and Chinese New Year I bring some tangerine to my colleague. Thats the spirit I adore.

Last week I just had my first personal trip for this year back to Kuching, Sarawak for my friends wedding. Is a fruitfull trip that I enjoy a lot. Yet I am feeling lazy to elaborate here today so I keep this for next month. Here are some preview pics.

A long waited fame......

Is been another year and the annual PDC cup had come again. Like all the previous years, this year I had participated in 4 games (out of 6 game) - Volleyball, Futsal, Dodgeball and Basketball. This is a wrap up for myself and PP team

Volleyball
Had been called upon by the captain who are my colleague who are the 4 years old guy sits beside my cube. Being participating last years and end up number 4 overall, this year the caps had a vision to go into final and win the game. With the additional players from other groups who has good experience, atheleticsim we do have a chance to claim the throne. We were winning the 1st match but fall the 2nd match against the team who end up to be champion this year. The 3rd match the key but we fell short. 4th match is just to finish the round robin game and determine the ranking. PP team end up won 2 lost 2 at 3rd placing.

Futsal

PP was in the final last year and lost unwillingly to the last year champion. This year we are forming the stronger team. With players from my current group who we play regulary and has all the cooperation being polish plus the younger squad from the lab who well known with their futsal/football skill. Though we were stronger but so are other team.

1st match we face a well fit team who looks tough. However we were able to secure the victory with 5-3 margin. It could be due to the opponent first outing.

2nd match scarred us as we were force to a 4-4 tie with the last minute goal from the opponent. It so sore as they were the last year champion and we vow to win over them as a revenge but we fail to do so. I was down as I was the goal keeper and conceded the last goal

3rd match was again a tough match. Winner will sit relax and confirm a ticket to the final while loser need to depends on the other match between the other 2 team. We should had the upper hand but again lack of focus cost us. It end with a tie of 2-2.

4th match was a do or die game with both team stand a chance to go into the final. It was a tough and must win game for us. We give 130% to the game as it was the final. Finally it pay of as we won 4-1.

Final match and we were not the favourite. Some of us are playing with injury picked up during the previous match while 1 of the key player had to catch plane relocation to US. Our guys did not cave into the disadvantages. We fight and we had the early lead of 1-0. Opponent keep fight back and they were paid off with a tie. Lastly final wistle blow and the game goes to penalty. With our player clever penalty taking and a good save from goal keeper we won the game with penalty shot of 3-1. We were champ finally.

Dodgeball

Saw the game before but never interested to play with it. Joining is due to making a deal with the dodgeball captain that I scratch his back he scratch my. We lost the 1st 2 matches due to unfamiliar to the rules and to the game since all of the member were newbie and none had played last year. The referee and the committee has something to do with our lost as well as they were not finalize the rules and we kind of be the gunea pig. However the last 2 matches we won with a beautiful results. Could be thanks to the previous "warm up" game that we lost. End up 3rd was not a bad placing....

Basketball

I am one of the key player for it every year and this year before even it start we are facing some problem. We were just merely could get a full 5 player + 1 subs to fill in the roster only. Lack of response from the PP team to join make us worried of the stamina and foul trouble we could have. Lastly with persuation and begging we fill the roster with 12 names but at the actual day there were never more than 8 players turn out. We just have to play with what we got.

1st match we lost 12 points to the potential champion of the years. With the roster, I were never put hope to win the game but I disbelieve we lost to double digit. Had 6 points for the match and miss 4 3-point shot. Additional to that we lost a player due to injury.

2nd match was against the should be weakest team of all. We could had won the game but we end up very tired and lost the touch and concentration again. We lost by 4 points and I only collected 4 points with 3 miss 3-point shot.

3rd match was the most exciting game of all. We manage to secure a tie at the normal time and games goes to extra time. We could have won in normal time but due to pressure our key player miss the winning free throw. In extra time, we lost again by 4 and I contributed 8 points and again missing all the 3-point shot.

4th match was a final game of round robin. Win or lost we are the bottom of the group. Nevertheless this game was close as well with us lost by 2 point. 7 points for me and finally I scored a 3-point shot, my only made for the competition so far.

Despite all the loses, we are proud that we were last not because of we played badly but we were lack of substitution and support. 2 of the youngster in our team get all the credit by being the main scorer and played non-stop without any rest through out all the matches.

Before the Final Basketball game which did not involve PP team, there was a competition of 3-point shooting. Each team send out 2 shooter and attempt 10 3-point shot in 35 second to see how many succes score were made. My teammate and I join in and I was the first to go in. I succesfully made 4 ball with 1 point each and a money ball with 2 point each. I get a 6 point and this was enough for me to won the competition. Being waited for 3 years for this and finally I was able to crown as the king......

尽力拼个火花出来。。。

再过3个小时就是一年一度的杯际赛了，篮球是这一届的最后项目。
一向来篮球不是我这队的强项，原因是很少有队友。我们要成立一队篮球队都要经历无数次的恳求一些工作伙伴来加入。一些还是基于朋友的支持，给脸说既然没有人支持你就让我来充数吧，非常感谢他们。
今年还是一样，打着只求参与，不求名次的精神参加。并不是我们不想力争上游，而是我们非常明白我们的实力到哪里。至少希望以4位还不错的球员，让我们尽力的争上决赛的一席位子吧。

懊悔的一天。

昨天有了场比赛，比赛的结果让我很懊悔。

那场5人足球的比赛，对手虽然在去年打败了我们但今年他们已经输了两场，实力上看来我们还是技高一筹。果然球还是园的，上半场踢完我们就落后了2球，成绩3比1，而且主将们都没发挥出本色来，大家都有点象漏了气的球，守门员和主后卫都伤了。下半场开打不久，后卫伤得不能再踢下去，队长要我当守门员，让守门员来当后卫。当然不用多说我当了守门员。虽然这位置不是我踢惯的位置但相对之下那守门员踢后卫绝对比我来的强，权衡之下这是最佳选择。

整15分钟的下半场，我们把比数追平了，而且也反超前，比数是3比4，我们在比赛还剩下3到4分钟时取得了胜利，而且我也扑救了3个射门。比赛的最后时刻，我方攻了对方一次但出界了，对方的守门员开球，把球往敌对的11号前锋丢来。这是的后卫是站在11号的前方，有能力一跳把球清出危险地带。但球竟然没被清除而是往我方向飞来，同时11号也跑向我追着球。我把手一伸准备把球接下时，球从我手中漏出去了，弹在地上往龙门方向去。11号已经把脚一伸，轻轻的触碰把球送进了龙门。

很懊悔，实在很懊悔。努力白费了，队友的努力统统白费了。现在我深深的体会那天我对队长说的一句话。“当守门员者，无论在场上多么活跃，表现多出色，扑救了多少粒世界级的射门，只要一次的小小的失误，一定会令人大失所望。”就是我的失误让到手的3分飞了，太可惜了。。。。。

对所有的足球球会/球队的把关人物致敬。你们的功实在是太少被赞扬了。

昨夜睡了大概只有4个多小时的我，当然不能说全是因为这场比赛的失误，这只造成我失眠的20%，另外的80%是来至于半夜在我楼下清除垃圾的超级吵闹的垃圾车所造成。凌晨3点多清除垃圾也拜托能清理的稍微安静些吗？让我枯坐到天亮。。。希望这20%的感受不要再重复，也希望这80%的情景不要再发生。

misc stuff

Trying to make it like a monthly reports for my personal life and working life and honestly due to no proper documentation I have to jumble up all the things. Lets make it simple and point form for read.

• Things are getting cold in works. Project has done and marching to the new one which has opportunity to travel to US (Yes!!! I could possibly fulfill a dream of my there). According Boss possibly October but things can be changes till then (finger crossing).


• Annual PDC cup on going. Like usual no hope put on the basketball team and things just might get worst with only possible 5 player to participate. That will convert to 40 minute game playing without subs for 4 games (of coz 4 games there wont be a slight chance to march to final unless there is hidden national player in the PP team) not even counted the possible foul out of a player making the team play with 4 players against 5 players or the opponent.


• Had a team building session on a charity works. Come to think of it, the last charity works (exclude blood donation) I did was during high school with interact club and was years years back when the last I hold the pain brush.

• PRQ dinner coming soon and just had a sudden team building to Mukah Head. Happen to know that within the DV group I am the sole representative for eligible bachelor. Cool! The sudden team building was to go hiking at the PG national park which i been there 2 times before and this time it has huge changes. Some building being built for office and stuff. the nature still preserve though. Here are a glance of some pic.

• Olympic is coming soon. The last I remember I had the dream to attend the Beijing 2008. Looks like I fail to fullfill the dream. I just have to stay at home and watching infront of TV pretending I am in one of the stadium there...... :(
• Planning for a trip back to Kuching but usually my plan fail. Hopefully I able to make it this time.
• Just notice bonus had pay out yesterday. Maybe can buy a thing for myself to keep me interest on something. Lately do found not much thing could keep me moving after gone back to my house. Is it a sign of old or I just lost interest on living for myself?
• Is been a long time since I playing a PC game. Well my PC is an antique so what u expect? But this piece of antique still serve me well compare to my bro's P4 at home which had been broke down for a lot of times. Recently get hooked by this Diablo 3 just introduce to the world though it only release I think around 2010. Will get a decent system just to play that game.
• Till end of the year, I think I will have 2-3 wedding dinner to attend. 1 from the colleague which will be held during weekdays. Not sure if I am willing to drive for an hour or 2 to attend the dinner with works still on the next day. 1 from primary school fren who she say will be on Oct which I might be traveling during that time (hopefully). The last one is from Uni friends at KCH on Dec which if I do not have any plans during that time I will definitely attend as I could plan a vacation as well to KCH.

I guess that sum up the month of July. Till the next monthly report.....
